Difference between Organic Cultivation and Biodynamic

What is the difference between "Organic" and "Biodynamic" cultivation?
Nowadays,  It can be said that healthy trends through consumption of organic products or non-toxic products are popular and seem to be increasing day by day. Consumers realize that consumption of the general products that use chemical ingredients can impact their health problems. Thus, they are more focused on choosing to consume the products and turn more attention to their healthy life.
Believe it or not, there are methods of cultivating plants that are more effective than organic cultivation. And this process is a method that has been accepted for more than a hundred years called "Biodynamic" cultivation. Understanding about Organic cultivation
Organic cultivation means an agricultural grown without any chemicals such as pesticides including transform genetic and various accelerators. Organic cultivation must use organic compost or natural fertilizer and it works together with the soil, water and humidity so that plants can grow naturally.
Organic Cultivation process
  1. Cultivation area

Before preparing the soil for planting, the soil must be tested and must be free from the use of chemicals for more than 3 years in that area.

  2. Seed

Choose the seeds that are healthy, clean and safe for cultivation and put it into soil. And within 5 days if the seeds show germinate, it means they can be growing in a good condition.

  3. Attention

Emphasizing on proper watering the plants and manual weeding without using any chemicals.

  4. Harvest

Organic planting will not let the yield let them down itself. It needs to always check the proper harvesting time. And if the plant has damage or expires, it has to be removed from the plant immediately to restore and repair the soil for the next round planting.

Understanding about “Biodynamic” cultivation

Biodynamic method is the purest and cleanest type of cultivation and OWAY (Organic Way) uses this method to grow and harvest their ingredients to be used in the products. So that consumers can use the products that are high quality and safe as well.

Biodynamic Cultivation process

  1. Cultivation area

The soil and water in the cultivation area must be free from the use of chemicals for more than 100 years, and most importantly, the quality of the soil is checked to ensure that it is sufficiently fertile.

  2. Seed

Select seeds that have been cultivated without chemicals and natural planting. It's important to choose the day of planting the seed depending on the moon phase as well.

  3. Attention

Biodynamic cultivation must work together with nature by  allowing it to follow the nature cycle such as releasing the caterpillars to pollinate flower plants and most importantly, didn't use any chemicals and pesticides.

  4. Harvest

Harvesting also depends on the moon phase just like sowing the seed to obtain the richest and the greatest nutritious elements.

Relying on the MOON’ Influence

Sowing

During the waning moon (from full moon to new moon)

This is the time for sowing the seeds because the plants take root well and connect quickly with the soil and get higher quality of accumulated nutrients.

Harvesting

During the waxing moon phase (from new moon to full moon)

This is the time for harvesting the plants and herbs because the roots of the plant absorb the nutrients and plants grow stronger and at this point, remain fresher and juicier for longer.
